Woman of Courage by [Brunstetter, Wanda E.]
Amanda Person thought she knew what her future would be, it was the night before her wedding and she was so happy. But an unexpected visit from her fiance changed everything. No wedding, no happily ever after, no future in the Quaker congregation where her father preached.
So Amanda and her father set out toward the West to Join a couple in their Mission to bring Christ to the Nez Perce  Indians in the Oregon Territory.
She was worried about her father who looked so tired. He finally was forced to tell her that his heart was failing, he was not long for this world and secured her promise she would continue on without him. She could have never guessed at the trials, dangers and the strengths she never knew she had as she struggles to fulfill that promise!

The Hope Jar by Wanda Brunstetter

The Hope Jar
Michelle has had a tough life. Now she needs to disappear. The Amish couple at the bus station who seem to think she is their long lost Granddaughter sounds like a perfect solution to her. Sara, their real Granddaughter wants to meet them, but is willing to wait to accommodate their needs, at least she thinks are their needs. This story, from my favorite Amish fiction writer, does not disappoint!
Being gently nudged toward faith by the bible quotes found in an old canning jar. Sara starts to believe there is a different way to live. A better way to live. A fascinating look at expectations, and God's ability to use them for good.

Limits by Susie Tate

Limits by [Tate, Susie]
Camilla knew they called her "Nuclear Winter". That was fine with her. It meant she didn't have to interact with anyone.
Pav, the dashing Urologist was drop dead gorgeous and quite the Playboy if appearances meant anything. People were just naturally drawn to him. This is a story about the intersection of these very different lives. Full of heartache, romance and more than a few surprises, it is a thoroughly enjoyable read. Ms Tate knows her Hospital pecking order well and uses it to great advantage. I'm looking forward to reading more from her.

Twenty-One Days by Anne Perry

Twenty-one Days: A Daniel Pitt Novel
Daniel Pitt didn't want to take this case, but his father has specifically asked him to. So, he started asking questions, thrusting him into a web of dubious ideas, strange, but true circumstances and even more astonishing conclusions.
Having been a fan of Anne Perry for many years, I was interested to see the children of her original characters taking up the endeavours of their parents. But this is also an excellent stand alone story, on it's own merits!

The Here and Now by Ann Brashares

The Here and Now by [Brashares, Ann]
It starts with a boy fishing, who sees something astounding. It ends with a new future, maybe.
Time is like a river, you can't step in the same place twice....or can you? Petra and Ethan both have a role in changing the future, but one is from that future. Part of a group sent back in time to survive, after the blood plagues, the starvation, the present day seems like a paradise!
Can they do something to stop the plagues from happening?
What will happen if they do change the future?
A thought provoking read about power and it's corruptive influence, the consequences of actions that could not be predicted, and the best of intentions having horrible results.
You will be surprised as this story takes you places you will not expect!
A fascinating, thought provoking read.
