I was enthralled to read the story of a penniless widow and her
children, forced to move to a derelict inn in a small country town, with
money borrowed from her former butler. Imagine my surprise when she was
NOT rescued by a wealthy squire or prince who swept her off her feet.
This is a much more gratifying story, based more in the realms of
reality than storybook fantasies. Solid story, fully fleshed characters
(warts and all) with an ending made much more satisfying by its feeling
of reality! Christian based, but not "preachy". This is a story well
worth the time.

#4 The Taming of a Wild Flower, Book 3
The Taming of a Wild Flower, Book 3 by Samantha Jillian Bayarr
Jane and Bradley seem to have come full circle, childhood sweethearts, now together again after Jane's husband had died. Expecting their first child, they also plan for a foster child to join their already large family. Blessings have a way of doubling as do sorrows at times. Follow this tale of their joys and tears as their oldest readies himself to leave the nest and their family grows in unexpected ways. Jane's brother has a farming accident but seems to be recovering well when things take an ominous turn. I very much enjoyed seeing this family meet life head on!

A note to my readers
Hello readers,
Sorry I have been away for a few months. Health issues, plus my Daughter's wedding have intervened in my life, but things are stabilizing now, so I will once again be posting. I will however, start over toward my goal of a book a day for a year! Happy Holidays to all..I look forward to the coming year.
