Limits by Susie Tate

Limits by [Tate, Susie]
Camilla knew they called her "Nuclear Winter". That was fine with her. It meant she didn't have to interact with anyone.
Pav, the dashing Urologist was drop dead gorgeous and quite the Playboy if appearances meant anything. People were just naturally drawn to him. This is a story about the intersection of these very different lives. Full of heartache, romance and more than a few surprises, it is a thoroughly enjoyable read. Ms Tate knows her Hospital pecking order well and uses it to great advantage. I'm looking forward to reading more from her.

The Southern Belle Brides Collection: 7 Sweet and Sassy Ladies of Yesterday Experience Romance in the Southern States by [Bliss, Lauralee, Cecil, Ramona K., Christner, Dianne, Coleman, Lynn A., Hall, Patty Smith, Hitchcock, Grace, Stevens, Connie]
What an enjoyable group of women. Each with a different story, but all searching for something true and blessed.  From a Southern War survivor, cheated by a bank, trying her best to keep it together, to a servant girl, trying her best to impersonate he employers runaway daughter and make a good impression on a prospective suitor.
I especially enjoy seeing God's hand in every story, something that is not always the case in our own world.
A thoroughly enjoyable read!

Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage

Baby Teeth: A Novel by [Stage, Zoje]
Hanna was just a little girl, right?  Little girls loved their Mommies, right? But she still wouldn't talk. Six years old and still not talking. She could read and write, do arithmetic, but had already been kicked out of two schools for behaviors that  Alex won't believe she does. Suzette only knows her daughter hates her. Her husband refuses to see it, because she is always loving to him. She never misbehaves when he's around. What can she do? Will he ever see what's wrong with Hanna? An edge of your seat story, dark and twisted in the midst of everyday suburban life. Don't read this one in bed!

Three Shoeboxes by Steven Manchester

Three Shoeboxes by [Manchester, Steven]
Steven Manchester does it again! He takes us into the mind of Mac, a Husband, Father, a Man who has everything, or so it seems.
One small thing, driving by a bad car accident, changes his life in ways he could never imagine, or it seems, understand.
A chilling look into what it feels like to suffer from PTSD. How it effects him, his family, every part of his life.
Sad and touching, we watch as his entire life falls to pieces. wishing there was something you could do, and finally, seeing a glimmer of hope.
Not an easy read, but one well worth the pain.

Twenty-One Days by Anne Perry

Twenty-one Days: A Daniel Pitt Novel
Daniel Pitt didn't want to take this case, but his father has specifically asked him to. So, he started asking questions, thrusting him into a web of dubious ideas, strange, but true circumstances and even more astonishing conclusions.
Having been a fan of Anne Perry for many years, I was interested to see the children of her original characters taking up the endeavours of their parents. But this is also an excellent stand alone story, on it's own merits!
