Billy and his Monster get into some more trouble, even when they are trying hard to be good. Grandma Chocalicious will not be happy when they eat the chocolate Easter Eggs! # 49 If You See a Doctor by David Chuka

This fun little book  combines illustration, photographs and rhyme into a "what do you want to be when you grow up?" book. Simple, good for early school age or some preschoolers. I think my 4 year old Granddaughter would really enjoy it.

#48 Awkward Owl by Shawnda Blake

Awkward Owl was really, really awkward! The more he thought about it, the more awkward he became.  A little girl finds him (after he crashed into a tree, back-side-up and bottom-side-first) she doesn't call him awkward, she just wants to be sure he's OK. A good story about how not to make fun or bully, but to help!
My 11 year old Granddaughter liked it and I think younger kids would too. Sweet illustrations. A nice little book.

#47 Billy and Monster's New Neighbor Has a Secret by David Chuka

Billy and his Monster have an encounter with a new neighbor. Misunderstandings ensue, but things get straightened out. A great book for younger school age kids. Complete with farts and burps to delight any seven year old! Even my 11 year old Granddaughter thought it was pretty funny. Cute illustrations and a fun story.

#46 Grateful Me! By Cherrie Dejolde Bautista

What a fun rhyming book for school age kids! Bright illustrations, and lots of affirmations to guide youngsters on how to be grateful for what they have. My 11 yr old Granddaughter really liked it and even asked for her own copy! Anything that can teach about being thankful and encourage reading is tops in my book!

#45 The Scoop on Breasts BY Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Joyce K. Eisenburg

If you've ever thought about Breast Surgery, or had friends who had breast surgery and there were questions you just couldn't bring yourself to ask....this is the book for you! Funny, clear, no "Doctor Speak" here! Just great, plain spoken information. Everything from why to how to how long. Filled with stories, anecdotes, and chock full of facts. Having been under the knife myself, I even found information about my type of surgery that I didn't know. Take the mystery out of Boob Jobs of all kinds.
A great, fun, informative read.

#44 True by Erin McCarthy

Rory was a good girl, a Geek if you will, smarty, logical, An "A" student college girl who hadn't planned on getting drunk, but her roommates insisted she needed to get out after struggling through 6 hours of Hemingway, that made about as much sense to her as ancient Greek!  Not understanding her studies was NOT a comfortable feeling for her!  But there she was, drunk, sitting alone with a guy she hardly knew while her roommates were off in the bedrooms having sex with their boyfriends. But this guy wasn't completely horrible, besides, he might be desperate enough to kiss her.
She really wants to kiss somebody and try to figure out what the big deal was. She's never dated, never had a boyfriend, was a virgin goes without saying. How she ended up with two flirty hot girls as roommates and friends she really isn't sure, but she's enjoying her college time with them.
Things get out of hand and Rory ends up almost getting raped, being rescued by one of the boyfriends and having to admit to her roommates that she's a virgin.
So starts a roller coaster ride to self discovery, relationships, love and pain and understanding.
This is a tale that rings true and it is great to see this young woman find her strength. You will enjoy following along, with all the ups and downs!

#43 Odd Apocalypse by Dean Koontz

Once again we pick up Odd and his traveling companions, Annamaria, the enigmatic pregnant one,  Raphael the golden retriever, and Boo, the ghost dog as they embark on another task that they were meant to perform. Odd feels the pull and Annamarie assures him, this is where they are meant to be.
This time around it will be about time itself. Nicolai Tesla makes an appearance. This is perhaps one of Odd's strangest adventures as he meets creatures that are not ghosts, but not human either. I won't spoil the story for you, but be prepared to be surprised and intrigued! Perhaps a bit darker than the previous Odd Thomas Books, but still able to make you laugh out loud and still raise goose pimples on your arms and the hairs on the back of your neck!

#39 Fireflies by P.S. Bartlett

Ennis was holding a small still bird, until a breeze ruffled his hair and it flew away. He was six years old and his life was about to change. His mother tended to baby him as he was nearly lost at birth, small and not breathing for what felt like the longest time. His Da was a doctor, his brothers and sisters growing healthy and strong. Theirs is a happy family. His sister Teagan was the first to notice that he was changing, starting to be able to do things no person should be able to do. What follows is a charming, riveting story of hidden secrets, dangers, and families. Of lives changed and lives saved. Of Angels and spirits and human frailties.
This is a story that reaches back to Ireland and forward to a future full of possibilities. You will find yourself caught up in it's spell, like being surrounded by fireflies to delight and entrance you.
